"Community Action Committee of Lehigh Valley, CACLV, has been awarded a grant to administer over
$5.6 million over a two and a half period, as part of the 2009 Stimulus package initiated by the
Obama administration. Pennsylvannia was the last state to receive federal stimulus funding, and CACLV
was the last agency within PA to receive federal funding. Consequently, CACLV has less time to
administer/spend our allocated funds, placing tremendous pressure upon our organization to develop
our program expediently and effectively. CACLV works with twelve contractors, nine HVAC firms, and
seven other firms, twenty eight services in all. From program inception, Mike's crew, Keystone/Eastern
Insulation Alliance, has stood alone as our most relied upon contractor to meet our strict requirements."
"Mike's crew have been the key contributor for our ARRA weatherization efforts. We have relied upon his
team early and often in developing our weatherization program. His team represents the standard that
all other contractors are measured against. In fact, we relied on Mike's team to do the work for a home
that received local newspaper and local televised coverage. We were comfortable enough for Mike to serve
as an example of all contractors working for CACLV."
"Mike is more than simply a contractor. He has been an important partner to CACLV for our overall objectives.
Mike has demonstrated the patience that was needed as our program was under construction. Additionally, Mike
has demonstrated the capacity to listen to our needs, and a willingness to assist in our development. Finally,
Mike makes himself personably available when we need to reach out to him. Altogether, we have been very pleased
with his team's dedication, work product, and service. I give Mike the highest contractor recommendation possible."
Most sincerely,
Dwight Harris, Jr.

Call Today to Learn how to save up to 30% On Your Home Energy Costs
|

|
| If you add up all the hidden air leaks in your home, they can equal a hole the size of an open window — and can lead to higher energy bills by allowing heat to escape and causing your system to work harder to keep you comfortable. This makes home sealing one of the first and most important steps you can take to reduce home energy costs year-round. Sealing air leaks and adding insulation-paying special attention to your attic and basement, where the biggest gaps and cracks are often found-will keep warm air inside where it belongs and help your equipment perform more efficiently. |
|
 |
| Insulation is the single most cost effective way for a homeowner to save money on their future energy costs. In Fact, Insulation is the only building product that will actually pay for itself. Adding insulation is a part of almost every weatherization project. Making sure there is enough insulation in the walls, foundation, and roof -- anywhere there is a barrier between the home and the outside-is one of the most important ways to make a home energy efficient. Eastern's customers will benefit from improved comfort, lower energy bills, and a higher resale value. |
|
 |
| Attic Reinsulation |
| Properly insulating and air sealing your attic will help reduce your energy bills. Attics are often one of the easiest places in a house to insulate, especially if you'd like to add insulation. |
| Sidewall Reinsulation |
| Properly insulated exterior walls in your house will not only increase comfort but also help you save on heating and cooling costs. For energy savings, you can add insulation to your walls in an existing house. |
| Crawl spaces |
| If you properly insulate your crawl space -- in addition to air sealing and controlling moisture, you will save on energy costs and increase your home's comfort. You need to carefully consider the proper product and techniques, not to mention moisture control. |
