” By the way, a neighbor came over when he saw the installers, loved them and called the office for an estimate. I went right over and it looks like he will be signing too. I told the installers the neighbor called because of them. He really had high praise and mentioned they had a great attitude to me. It was a “feel good moment” for sure! They deserve recognition.”

“I extend my appreciation for jobs well done by the basement waterproof person and the two individuals who installed my gutters yesterday. All individuals worked diligently to get their jobs completed and were very courteous. Thanks again!”
“I just wanted to take a moment to thank you, the guys that came to our house Friday & Saturday to do the injection foam were great, can’t say enough about them very nice, very knowledgeable about the product and had no problems explain what they were doing and why they were doing things the way they were! Also after they left the first day & 2nd day you would have NO idea i had any work done. Property was all cleaned up even took out there shopvac to clean up outside around the house.. Keep up the great work with your crews.. One last note we can noticed a HUGE difference already in our 1842 home. With the temp swings already we had this weekend, house only dropped between 3-4 degrees & no drafts with some of the breezes we had too this weekend… awesome job…”

Subject: Thank You
Just a quick note to thank you and your staff for the excellent work completed under the DOE ARRA WAP. NORWESCAP was very pleased to work with a skilled and professional organization with a responsive management team and experienced field staff. NORWESCAP was able to properly assist over 600 eligible households with DOE ARRA funded energy conservation services. We would not have achieved that milestone without Eastern Insulation’s cooperation and commitment. On behalf of NORWESCAP and the people we strive to assist, I sincerely thank you for your efforts.

This week your company did some weatherization on my home. The men were Jimmy, Truman, and Lenny. They were polite, never stopped work except for lunch, cleaned up their mess and took great pride in their work. I would recommend them to anyone. In fact my daughter will be calling for some advice and an estimate.

I just finished a telephone conversation with Mr. Catoggio from Warren, NJ. He called to praise the crew and express sincere thanks for the work being done at his home. Mr. Catoggio described the two installers as “polite respectful professionals who know what they are doing”. He went on to say that if he was not retired he would try to hire the guys for his company. I thought you would enjoy this bit of news. Take care!

Community Action Committee of Lehigh Valley, CACLV, has been awarded a grant to administer over $5.6 million over a two and a half period, as part of the 2009 Stimulus package initiated by the Obama administration. Pennsylvannia was the last state to receive federal stimulus funding, and CACLV was the last agency within PA to receive federal funding. Consequently, CACLV has less time to administer/spend our allocated funds, placing tremendous pressure upon our organization to develop our program expediently and effectively. CACLV works with twelve contractors, nine HVAC firms, and seven other firms, twenty eight services in all. From program inception, Mike’s crew, Keystone/Eastern Insulation Alliance, has stood alone as our most relied upon contractor to meet our strict requirements.
Mike’s crew have been the key contributor for our ARRA weatherization efforts. We have relied upon his team early and often in developing our weatherization program. His team represents the standard that all other contractors are measured against. In fact, we relied on Mike’s team to do the work for a home that received local newspaper and local televised coverage. We were comfortable enough for Mike to serve as an example of all contractors working for CACLV.
Mike is more than simply a contractor. He has been an important partner to CACLV for our overall objectives. Mike has demonstrated the patience that was needed as our program was under construction. Additionally, Mike has demonstrated the capacity to listen to our needs, and a willingness to assist in our development. Finally, Mike makes himself personably available when we need to reach out to him. Altogether, we have been very pleased with his team’s dedication, work product, and service. I give Mike the highest contractor recommendation possible.

Dear Mr. Quinn,
I am writing this letter to let you know how impressed I was by the wonderful work your technician Wally Veluz did at my house as a result of my qualifying for the weatherization program.
Mr. Veluz is professional, pleasant and quite knowledgeable in his field of work. Overall I would like to say that he is an asset to Eastern Insulation.
Thank you for your services.

Another success with EASTERN
I post tested the Quakertown residence on Friday afternoon once our work and your densepack insulation were complete. The attic had not been insulated at all prior to this project. The attic temperature was 104 on the top of the floor and as high as 120 under the slates. As a curiosity I measured the 2nd fl ceiling just 8″ below this sweltering attic. The ceiling plaster was 82 degrees. A 22 degree separation ! The temperature of the 2nd floor air and walls was also 82 so their was no degredation whatsoever through the ceiling plane to the attic.
Congratulations on another success.

Dear Mr. Sawyer,
Laura and I would like to thank you again for the manner in which you have been handling our issue with the foundation. In all my years of dealing with contractors both as a consumer and as an advocate or adversary in litigation, I have never met a more professional, courteous, stand-up individual than Dan Conway. The integrity he has shown during the recent weeks in which we have dealt with him has been nothing short of stellar. Having seen him in action, I have the utmost confidence that the application of the Tremco product will be done not just properly this time, but according to the high standards he maintains. In my opinion, Dan is probably one of the most important assets that Eastern currently has. Because of the manner in which Dan has acted to carry out your directive to make this situation right–and assuming, as I believe will be the case, the problem will indeed be fixed–I would have no problem with recommending Eastern to other people, notwithstanding the fact that the product was not installed correctly the first time. Your willingness to stand behind your service stands out in a crowd of most contractors who would be content merely to point a finger and leave it for the consumer to straighten out. After four years of living with frustration, I truly believe we’re seeing the light at the end of the tunnel. Thank you for not taking the easy way out, and never underestimate the positive impact your and Dan’s actions have had on Laura and me. We are grateful for the help you are providing.
Dear Eastern Insulation Management and Staff,
Thank you for sending Matt to my house today to do insulation. He was very thorough in explaining to me the dangers of asbestos and lead in my home. He gave me new carbon monoxide sensors, energy efficient light bulbs and reading materials regarding dangers of toxins in my home and showed me problem areas in my basement.
He is such a gentleman and an extremely dedicated technician. I was so impressed with his pleasantness and genuine concern for my safety that I felt I needed to let you know.
Congratulations to my angel Matt!! His sincerity will stay on my mind for a long time. I thank him for caring about my situation and possibly saving my life! God bless him for a job well done!
