In all my years of dealing with contractors both as a consumer and as an advocate or adversary in litigation, I have never met a more professional, courteous, stand-up individual than Dan Conway. The integrity he has shown during the recent weeks in which we have dealt with him has been nothing short of stellar. Having seen him in action, I have the utmost confidence that the application of the Tremco product will be done not just properly this time, but according to the high standards he maintains. In my opinion, Dan is probably one of the most important assets that Eastern currently has. Because of the manner in which Dan has acted to carry out your directive to make this situation right–and assuming, as I believe will be the case, the problem will indeed be fixed–I would have no problem with recommending Eastern to other people, notwithstanding the fact that the product was not installed correctly the first time. Your willingness to stand behind your service stands out in a crowd of most contractors who would be content merely to point a finger and leave it for the consumer to straighten out. After four years of living with frustration, I truly believe we’re seeing the light at the end of the tunnel. Thank you for not taking the easy way out, and never underestimate the positive impact your and Dan’s actions have had on Laura and me. We are grateful for the help you are providing.
